Actor Denies Anti-Vaccine Views Following Lending His Voice To Disputed Pandemic Feature

The "Taken" star has lent his narration to a recent film that challenges the efficacy of vaccines and commends one-time government figure RFK Jr.

The Documentary's Contentious Basis

Named "Plague of Corruption," the project is adapted from a bestselling book written by a disgraced researcher, who gained notoriety during the global outbreak for allegations that Covid was linked to a bad strain of the influenza shot.

The book's collaborator, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with controversial radio host the Infowars host. Heckenlively wrote online hailing Neeson's participation in the film.

A Firm Statement

A spokesperson for the actor have released a comment strongly denying claims that he subscribes to anti-vax beliefs.

"Many recognize that unethical practices might be present within the pharmaceutical industry, but that should never be conflated with being against vaccines," the response states. "He has never been, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His extensive work with the global charity underscores his consistent support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response added that the actor did not shape the film's messaging and that inquiries about its claims are best addressed to the producers.

Key Assertions In the Feature

According to the documentary, the narration spoken by Neeson features several controversial points:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have called for "blind obedience" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "medical science has become deeply influenced by politics."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown claiming, "The major issue with vaccines is that they just aren't safely tested."
  • The narration also criticizes Covid lockdowns, claiming they caused severe distress that cost thousands of lives.
  • Concerning pandemic shots, it cites a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Historical Context and Recent Debates

The documentary further cites a 2004 BBC documentary about HIV drug testing on children, which was later the subject of a formal apology by the broadcaster for violations of guidelines.

Last month, RFK Jr directed the Centers for Disease Control to revise its longstanding position that there is no causal relationship between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This claim is echoed in the film, despite a new report from the World Health Organisation reiterating no such link has been found.

An Earlier Position of Endorsement

Contrasting the documentary's message, Neeson has formerly voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his position as a Unicef global ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "a remarkable achievement," adding that "The conversation about vaccines in the past few years has forgotten how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in human history."

"Plague of Corruption" ends with Neeson's narration stating, "This isn't the conclusion of our story. It is the beginning of a different phase."
