Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
